1. Feasibility study

EPS, through its team of EGE UNI CEI 11339 certified energy management experts, carries out smart and fast internal audits in order to simplify the definition of the functional architecture for the system of meters to be installed on site.

Our team of energy consultants performs a feasibility analysis free of charge to evaluate the authorization, technical and economic aspects of the initiative.

In particular, the following activities will be carried out:

  • in-depth analysis of all the aspects of an authorization and planning nature of the context, including the examination of compatibility with the sector regulations and the territorial planning tools in force and the study of environmental and landscape constraints;
  • evaluation of the available energy potential, through, for example, anemological analyzes (wind farms), flow diagrams (hydroelectric plants), solar radiation (solar thermal and photovoltaic plants), quantities of organic matrices available (biogas and biomass plants );
  • assessment of the annual production of clean energy, by identifying the most suitable conversion technology (type and size of the wind turbine, nominal power of the solar photovoltaic, surface area of ​​the solar panels, power of the hydraulic turbine);
  • cost-benefit analysis through the evaluation of the main economic-financial parameters (discount rate, personnel costs, maintenance costs, various incentives and tax breaks, electricity sales prices) and the calculation of the main profitability indicators (value net present, payback time, internal rate of profitability, leveled cost of energy production).
2. Engineering and construction

We provide an accurate and professional service, with particular attention paid to the specific needs of the civil or industrial context. Engineering is particularly specialized in the sectors of efficient and rational use of energy and the exploitation of renewable energy, with training and management skills on complex projects.

The construction of the plants, from solar photovoltaics to thermal, wind, hydroelectric, biogas and biomass plants is carried out with internal specialized personnel, own vehicles and equipment.

It is our responsibility to initiate and accompany the entire construction process, coordinating the activities that include the arrangement of the internal security works, the connection to the local distributor’s network, the final testing for the operation and management of the procedures for the request. of the various incentives and concessions provided for the intervention.

3. Management and maintenance: intelligent service

The operation of electrical and thermal energy production plants powered by renewable sources provides for more or less complex maintenance and management activities, which allow to ensure operation and to optimize their performances.

EPS has developed an innovative smart – intuitive – flexible remote control and continuous supervision of the operating parameters of RES plants.

Our energy monitoring system has the essential characteristics of a customized cloud platform which, by detecting data in real time, allows the control of production and consumption of the plants, returns detailed analysis reports and reports anomalies and malfunctions through automatic alerts. by e-mail or sms.

The heterogeneity of the sources used to power the energy production plants (sun, wind, biomass, etc.) and of the technologies involved, means that our energy monitoring system has different architectures, specifically designed to keep everyone under control. operating parameters characteristic of the renewable source used.

The system architecture, in terms of number and type of sensors, actuators and output signals, is therefore identified starting from the type of RES plant subject to remote control and monitoring.
